The New York City Attorney Networking Association, or NYCANA, provides attorneys with an opportunity to network face-to-face with attorneys in different fields of law.  The organization hosts a variety of networking meetings, all of which are free and after the regular workday.

NYCANA meetings are non-competitive.  That is, there are no two attorneys in the same field, which better enables members to accomplish the following:

• develop business
• cultivate a group of de facto advisors in different fields of law
• get different perspectives on current legal issues
• learn about job opportunities
• discover other networking opportunities, such as non-publicized events or even different networking groups

NYCANA does not accept fees of any kind derived from business relationships formed between its members.  Nor does the Association require its members to refer business to other members in any way, shape, or form.
